Nothing in the squad costs more than £5.5m, which makes the Sky Blues a natural source of enablers — the cut-price bench and defensive picks that let you afford premium attackers elsewhere. Haji Wright leads the line with genuine top-flight and international experience, and Matt Grimes brings the set-piece delivery that turns cheap defenders into occasional point-scorers.

Coventry have no premium tier at all — £5.5m is the ceiling. Haji Wright (£5.5m) is the closest thing to a must-consider attacking asset: he leads the line, takes the penalties you would expect a first-choice striker to take, and is the most likely source of Coventry goals.
