What happens if I miss my turn in a live draft?

If you’re not available when it’s your turn, the draft clock will move on, so join the room a few minutes before your league’s scheduled start time. You can also grab uncontested players out of turn when no manager ahead of you can legally take them.

FootballDream drafts run live, with each manager picking in turn according to the snake order. If a manager isn’t present to pick, the draft can stall for everyone else waiting on that pick, so leagues generally agree a start time in advance and expect all managers to be logged in and ready.

To avoid holding up your league, join the draft room a few minutes early, keep the tab open for the duration, and have a shortlist ready so you can pick quickly when your turn comes around.

You don’t always have to wait for your slot. When a player fits your squad and no manager between the current pick and your next turn can legally take them (because of role limits or max-per-team rules), you can pick them early with the gold PICK NOW — NO WAIT button. That does not skip the active drafter’s turn.
