What’s the difference between Player Draft and Team Draft?

Quick Answer

Player Draft is a snake draft of individual World Cup players who score from their real match stats. Team Draft is a snake draft of whole national teams that score purely from wins, draws and losses.

Player Draft has each manager build a squad of 5, 7, 9 or 11 individual players, snake-drafted from the World Cup 2026 player pool. Points come from the same stat-based scoring as Fantasy XI — goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, cards — aggregated across every fixture your drafted players appear in.

Team Draft skips individual players entirely: managers draft whole nations instead. Each team you own scores +3 for a win and +1 for a draw (0 for a loss) in every fixture across the gameweek or matchday you’re drafting for, so it rewards picking teams that are simply likely to win their matches rather than tracking individual form.
