📖 Endrick: Biography & Story
Brazil's brightest new star: the teenager who Real Madrid bet €60m on at 17.
Endrick is the most hyped Brazilian footballer since Neymar: possibly since Ronaldo. The comparison feels justified not because of style (he is very different to both) but because of the scale of expectation placed on a player not yet old enough to vote in Brazil when Real Madrid announced they were paying €60 million for him.
He made his Palmeiras debut at just 16 and became their most important forward within months, scoring crucial goals in Copa Libertadores matches, Brazilian league fixtures and Copa do Brasil ties. He became the youngest scorer in Copa Libertadores semifinal history. Real Madrid, who had been tracking him since he was 14, activated a pre-agreement when he turned 16 and paid the massive fee ahead of his 18th birthday.
His style is distinctive: short, explosive, with extraordinary acceleration, directness and finishing ability. He is not a traditional Brazilian technical wizard. He is built more like a terrier, always moving, always pressing, always arriving into the right positions at the right time. At Real Madrid, he is patient and learning, but everyone expects his impact to grow explosively as the 2026/27 season unfolds.
