How does Match Predictor scoring work?

Quick Answer

Correct result: +100 (−100 if wrong). Exact score: +300. Correct goal difference (right winner, wrong score): +100. Correct anytime goalscorer: +100 per player. Power Play doubles result points on one match.

A correct match result (picking the winner, or a draw) is worth +100 points; getting the result wrong costs you −100. If you predict the exact final score, you earn a flat +300 regardless of the result points. Missing the exact score but still getting the correct goal difference (same winner, same margin) earns +100 instead.

Predicting an anytime goalscorer correctly is worth +100 per player you named who actually scored. In knockout-stage matches, correctly predicting who qualifies (or lifts the trophy) is worth a further +100.

Power Play is a once-per-round booster: activate it on one match to double both your result points and your penalty for getting it wrong (+200/−200), so it’s best saved for your highest-confidence prediction.
