That is not a promoted-side goalkeeper fluke anymore; it is a defender with attacking returns at Elland Road. Home to Palace this week is the obvious next port of call if you want rank movement.

- Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth, MID, £6.1m): 5.3% owned, 29 points — hosts Liverpool on Sunday after the 2-2 Brentford draw.
- Alex Scott (AFC Bournemouth, MID, £6.1m): 5.9% owned, 28 points — same fixture as Tavernier; covered in our GW5 captains guide too.
- Amine Belloumi (Hull City, MID, £5.0m): 3.0% owned, 27 points — budget mid with returns; away at Newcastle in GW5.
Hull defence still delivers value
Mendy, Egan and Tzolakis remain under 10% owned with 25+ points each — the promoted defensive pool from GW3 and GW4 has not gone away. Away at St James' after Newcastle's 4-1 defeat at Leeds is a harder clean-sheet punt, but the price and DefCon floor still appeal for bench cover.
