How Fantasy XI scoring works
Attackers are rewarded for goals and assists, defenders and goalkeepers for clean sheets, and everyone loses points for cards and own goals. Goals are worth more the further back the scorer plays — a defender's goal is worth 6 points versus 4 for a forward — so budget defenders who get forward are gold. Your captain scores double and your vice-captain 1.5×, so captaincy is the biggest single swing each gameweek.
