Why order matters
Pick order controls how often each manager reaches the best remaining players. A good format should feel fair, be easy to explain, and match the competitiveness of your group.
Snake order
Best for most private leagues. Round one goes forward, round two reverses, and the pattern continues. It balances the advantage of picking first.
Rotation order
Rotation shifts the starting manager each round. It is easy to understand and works well when your group wants a different feel from snake order.
Custom order
Custom order is best when you want a host-controlled format, a handicap, or a live party draft. Use it carefully, because fairness depends on the sequence you create.
Recommended default
Use snake order for competitive balance, especially with 2 to 4 managers and 5 to 8 picks per manager.
